Located on Nanda Road in East District, Hsinchu City, Bono Italian Cuisine was founded by chef Chen Youhao (Ahao), who grew up in a fishing village in Fangliao, Pingtung. With NT$24 million raised, the restaurant interprets authentic Italian flavors using local ingredients.
Cuisine Highlights
The signature whitebait pizza won the CAPUTO Pizza Championship in Taiwan. Other offerings include pasta, risotto, and local seafood dishes. The chef personally visits fish markets and travels to Italy to select ingredients; his grandniece He Peixun developed the award-winning pizza using hometown whitebait.
