Located inside the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel, Ching Yeh is the only hotel restaurant in Taiwan to hold two Michelin stars. Specializing in refined Sichuan and Huaiyang cuisine, it is renowned for its exquisite cold appetizers and meticulous craftsmanship.
Chef & Philosophy
Chef Lin Ju-wei champions a philosophy of “no fixed flavors, only what suits the palate.” He preserves the essence of traditional knife skills and wok mastery while incorporating local Taiwanese ingredients, creating a dialogue between heritage and innovation.
Signature Experience
The signature “Whisper” features pig ear rolled with tongue, braised and thinly sliced for a crunchy-tender bite. Other must-tries include “Drunken Chicken” in aged Shaoxing wine and “Braised Pork Knuckle with Red Yeast,” boasting a glossy, collagen-rich glaze with a sweet-savory balance.
Ambiance
Dark wood tones and warm lighting create an understated elegance. Private dining rooms offer an intimate setting for business banquets and family gatherings, with impeccable service.
